Model Bricks Galore Returns to Tunbridge Wells West in 2026!

Get ready for a fantastic family day out as Model Bricks Galore returns to the Spa Valley Railway in 2026! Taking place inside the historic Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West, this popular event brings together an incredible collection of LEGO® displays created by some of the UK’s most talented Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs).

Discover a world of imagination and creativity as you explore a wide variety of stunning models and layouts. From impressive railway scenes and detailed locomotives to aircraft, vehicles, cityscapes and unique creations, there will be something to amaze visitors of all ages. Whether you’re a dedicated LEGO® enthusiast or simply looking for a fun day out with the family, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Better still, your admission to the exhibition is included within the price of a standard Spa Valley Railway travel ticket, giving you the opportunity to combine a visit to the show with a memorable journey through the beautiful High Weald countryside aboard our heritage trains.

With train services operating to our popular Green Timetable, you’ll be able to enjoy up to five return journeys throughout the day, allowing plenty of time to explore all four Spa Valley Railway stations. Visit the historic locomotive sheds at Tunbridge Wells West, stroll through the picturesque station gardens at Groombridge, admire the rural charm of High Rocks, or connect with the national rail network at Eridge.

Families can also join in the fun with our exciting LEGO® Minifigure Hunt. Search the exhibition for hidden letters, solve the railway-themed mystery word and submit your entry for a chance to win a Family Travel Ticket for use on a standard operating day during 2027. It’s a great way to keep younger visitors entertained while exploring the exhibition.

Whether you’re a railway enthusiast, a LEGO® fan, or simply looking for a unique family day out, Model Bricks Galore offers the perfect combination of creativity, heritage trains and hands-on fun.

Join us at Tunbridge Wells West for a brick-tastic weekend of models, miniature masterpieces and steam trains – all included within your Spa Valley Railway travel ticket!

What to see and do along the line?

Tunbridge Wells West

Since 1606 visitors have been coming to Royal Tunbridge Wells to experience the Chalbeayte Spring.

Its chance discovery by Lord North, who was returning to London after a three month stay in the county, lead to the growth of Royal Tunbridge Wells and also the famous Pantiles.

High Rocks Station

The smallest but probably the most picturesque station on our line, built from scratch and opened in 1998 following the closure of the original halt in the 50s, serves the fantastic High Rocks themselves and the delightful Inn.

*Please check with High Rocks Inn to see if they are open when you are visiting.

Groombridge Station

Groombridge is our principal intermediate station and you can alight here to visit this historic village. It is also possible to walk to Harrisons Rocks where you can see the trains passing by on days we’re operating to Eridge, and if cycling, to get to the Forest Way

Eridge Station

Eridge makes the ideal starting point for a trip along the line. You can arrive by Southern Railway from London or Uckfield, or turn straight off the A26 road between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells. Look out for the mainline station signs! Eridge has a 100-space car park. The car park operator uses an app to pay and charges all day, seven days a week, but it is cheaper than most town centre alternatives. There is free parking on the road outside the station.
