Who’s who at the Spa Valley Railway?

The Spa Valley Railway is the trading name of Wealden Railway Company Limited (1936470), a private limited company incorporated on 6 August 1985. Its registered office is at West Station, Nevill Terrace, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Wealden Railway Company Limited owns and operates the Spa Valley Railway. Its shareholders own the company, with the Tunbridge Wells & Eridge Railway Preservation Society holding the majority shareholding. The Society is a private limited company (2129019), incorporated on 7 May 1987, and is also a registered charity (No. 1039493).

The Tunbridge Wells & Eridge Railway Preservation Society and its Trustees are responsible for preserving the railway line between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge and ensuring that the Society’s charitable objectives are fulfilled, as set out in its Articles of Association.

The General Manager oversees the day-to-day management of the Spa Valley Railway and is supported by a team of volunteer managers.
