Step aboard the Kent Gin Train and enjoy a memorable journey through the stunning High Weald while discovering some of the finest craft gins produced in Kent and Sussex.

Begin your experience at Tunbridge Wells West Station, where you’ll take your seat in one of our beautifully restored heritage carriages before setting off on a scenic steam-hauled journey. Waiting for you at your table will be a carefully selected tasting flight of three premium gins from renowned local distilleries, which may include Anno Distillers, Maidstone Distillery, Copper Rivet Distillery, and Greensand Ridge Distillery.

To help you create the perfect serve, each tasting includes a selection of complementary garnishes, such as dried and frozen fruits, together with a complimentary Fever-Tree mixer. Experiment with different flavour combinations and enjoy your gins exactly the way you like them in an exclusive Spa Valley Railway branded gin glass – yours to keep as a souvenir of the day.

And because no gin tasting is complete without a little indulgence, a delicious slice of Victoria sponge cake will also be served during your journey.

Distilled in our patented, copper still Janet, we infuse our Copper Rivet Grain spirit with the finest botanicals sourced from across the globe. It's refreshing and moreish.

Dockyard Kent Strawberry Gin

Rich, creamy Copper Rivet Distillery grain spirit, made from Kentish grain, is gently distilled with botanicals to create perfectly balanced Dockyard Gin. The magic happens when we add whole, fresh strawberries harvested the same day from a local farm and let them sit in peace to impart their colour and aroma.

Dockyard Oak Aged Damson Gin

A rich and plummy alternative to traditional Sloe gin, Dockyard Damson Gin celebrates Medway's heritage as one of the first places in Britain to grow and trade Damsons after they were planted by Roman settlers.

Advance booking is essential for all Dining Experiences.

Please note that, due to the limited number of tables for two, smaller parties may be required to share a table with other guests.

On the day of travel, please have your e-ticket ready for inspection, either printed or displayed on a mobile device. A member of our team will check tickets before boarding.

Please be aware that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers for customers who do not attend their booked event. As the Spa Valley Railway incurs costs for all confirmed bookings, these charges cannot be recovered. We recommend that customers consider appropriate travel or event insurance where necessary. Any re-booking will be subject to purchasing a new ticket at the full advertised fare.

TicketProtect is available for your order

We strongly recommend that you include this option, as your tickets are non-refundable. Adding TicketProtect will protect you against cancellations due to accidents, travel disruption on the way to the railway, and unexpected illnesses preventing you from attending. By adding it to your basket, you confirm that you have read and accept the TicketProtect Terms & Conditions, which we advise you to retain.

This protection is offered in-house by the Wealden Railway Company Limited, trading as the Spa Valley Railway and is only valid when purchased at the same time as your ticket(s). It is not an insurance policy.

Dogs

Assistance dogs are permitted in our dining cars, but due to space limitations we are unable to accommodate other dogs on board our dining trains.

Please note that menu choices must be selected at the time of booking and cannot be changed on the day of the event.

If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please notify us when booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Please note that there are no alternative menu options available beyond those offered during the booking process.
