Back by popular demand following a series of sell-out performances since 2021, this internationally acclaimed comedy dining experience has been specially adapted for performance aboard a moving heritage steam train, creating an unforgettable evening of laughter, dining, and immersive entertainment.
Inspired by one of Britain’s most beloved television sitcoms, Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience invites you to step inside the chaotic world of Fawlty Towers and become part of the action. Join Basil, Sybil, and Manuel as they attempt to serve dinner while navigating a series of hilarious mishaps, misunderstandings, and comedic disasters. With no fourth wall and plenty of audience interaction, you’ll be at the heart of the mayhem from the moment the show begins.
Enjoy a delicious three-course meal while the characters deliver their unique brand of chaos around you. Expect quick wit, outrageous comedy, and plenty of surprises as this talented cast recreates the spirit of the iconic BBC comedy in a way that is both immersive and laugh-out-loud funny.
Your evening begins at 6:00pm, when the doors open at the Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West Station. The performance starts at 6:30pm, before the train departs at 6:45pm for a truly unique theatrical journey through the beautiful High Weald countryside.
During the evening, you’ll enjoy two return trips along the Spa Valley Railway, travelling through the Kent and Sussex countryside while the comedy unfolds around you. The train returns to Tunbridge Wells West at approximately 9:40pm, bringing an end to an evening packed with great food, unforgettable entertainment, and nonstop laughter.

Tunbridge Wells West is where you must arrive to start your Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience.
Gather in our engine shed, where Manuel will suddenly appear, closely followed by Basil and to keep everything under control, Cybil.
The time comes to board the train, and you’ll be guided to your seats by the chaos enduring trio. As the train sets off along the line, you’ll get to enjoy a starter served, in amongst the chaos, followed closely by a very disjointed main course! It’s all part of the experience, don’t worry!
As the night draws in and dessert is served, the fun and antics of the evening will calm down as Basil, Manuel, and Cybil head back to their hotel, and you head off home, having met some of the most famous TV stars of all time.

But don't expect a peaceful dining experience… this is Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience, after all! As Basil, Sybil, and Manuel attempt to serve dinner, anything can happen. Will Manuel mysteriously deposit a bread roll in your lap? Will Basil's temper get the better of him? And should you be concerned about what ends up in the soup?
With hilarious audience interaction, brilliant improvisation, and plenty of unexpected surprises, every performance is different, making each journey a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Advance booking is essential for all Dining Experiences.
Please note that, due to the limited number of tables for two, smaller parties may be required to share a table with other guests.
On the day of travel, please have your e-ticket ready for inspection, either printed or displayed on a mobile device. A member of our team will check tickets before boarding.
Please be aware that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers for customers who do not attend their booked event. As the Spa Valley Railway incurs costs for all confirmed bookings, these charges cannot be recovered. We recommend that customers consider appropriate travel or event insurance where necessary. Any re-booking will be subject to purchasing a new ticket at the full advertised fare.

We strongly recommend that you include this option, as your tickets are non-refundable. Adding TicketProtect will protect you against cancellations due to accidents, travel disruption on the way to the railway, and unexpected illnesses preventing you from attending. Assistance dogs are permitted in our dining cars, but due to space limitations we are unable to accommodate other dogs on board our dining trains.
