Our popular Beer & Cider Festival is back from Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th October 2025!

Head to the Spa Valley Railway this Autumn and enjoy 170+ real ales, including 35+ Kent Green Hop Beers, 70+ ciders, live music, and food stalls alongside our steam and heritage diesel trains!

Real ale & cider bars are located on the trains so that you can enjoy a ride and a pint along the railway, as well as our three stations along the 5-mile railway, Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge, and Eridge. This event, which started in 2011, is returning for its 14th year. 

  • Thursday 16th - Tunbridge Wells West only. No trains are operating. Bar open from 18:00 to 22:00
  • Friday 17th and Saturday 18th - All stations open with bars. Trains run from 09:00 to 23:00, and bars open from 11:00 until 22:30.
  • Sunday - All stations open with bars. Trains from 09:00 to 23:00. Bars open from 11:00 until 18:00.

Booking information

Tickets booked using the links are for rail travel - entry to the Beer Festival is Free as per guidance above.

Entry to stations is FREE on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there is no charge to access the festival sites at Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge or Eridge, tickets are required for train travel. 
 
No trains will operate on Thursday 16th October, only Tunbridge Wells West is open between 18:00 and 22:00 for the sale of beer.
 
The only tickets required are to travel on the trains. If you are a member of CAMRA you will receive a £5 discount on train travel upon production of your in date membership card. This can only be done on the day and not in advance online.

Note that a £10 admin fee applies to all booking alterations.
